Bus Stop

So glad to be off that bus! Now where is my contact...he's supposed to show me around...ah!

Excuse me, hi! I'm Jayda. You must be Clark!

"Uh...I must be?"

Jayda: "Wow, well they said I would know you when I saw you, but that's quite a space suit you've got on. I didn't know we were supposed to come in costume. Is this some kind of team-building thing? Or are we going to a roller rink or something?"

"I'm sorry, I'm chattering. It's been a really long bus ride."

"Why don't we just go find the conference and you can tell me what we're doing on the way, hmm?"

"Why not?"

Jayda: "Uhh...okay."

Jayda: "Are you coming with me? I don't know where this thing is."

Clark: "Yes, Jayda. I will help you find the conference."

(Thus the appearance of Clark, my Tonner Flynn! Also my camera died, so thus the appearance of cellphone photos. I am not a happy photographer. But cellphone camera is better than no camera at all, especially with such a handsome new doll around! Yes I know my finger is in them a few times. I will try to do better next time ><)

Just Another Day at the Office

Well, hello Jayda! Just the person I wanted to see!

Hi, Mr. Matthews, I just came up here to ask what my assignment was.

Yeah, what...is it you do here again?

You're the boss. That's what I came to ask you about.

Oh, right, right. Well, as a matter of fact, you just got a special assignment.  Your name came up for the company retreat!

Me? Are you sure? I've only worked here for three days! And so far, all I've done is tour the building and polish the coffee machines!

Yeah, of course I'm sure! Better pack your bags, you leave tomorrow!

Um...wow...uh...thank you...

"Have a great trip!"

(Jayda's new boss is a little weird. But then, his name is Matt Matthews. I think I'd be weird if my name was Matt Matthews, too. And if I was only 12 inches tall and had crazy hair and my elbows were stuck that way. Poor Matt Matthews.)

 "Welcome, one and all, to the Jayda's New Apartment party!"

 "One...and...all..."

 "Well, at least I'm not totally alone. I have my loyal stuffed toy."

 

"Shhh it's okay. It's just the upstairs neighbors. I'm sure they'll go to sleep..."

"...sometime..."

"I suppose I should at least try to get some sleep."

"Goodnight, new life. I'll be back to get you started tomorrow."

Greetings!

Just starting what is sure to be a very interesting journey! This is going to be a blog featuring my 16 inch Tonner dolls, Jayda and Clark, who have not arrived at my home as of this post. I already have ideas for their backstories and interactions though, and I am excited to share them!

I also collect in the 1:9 scale, and have a rather extensive horse stable and doll community that might possibly make appearances, despite being quite a bit smaller. And then there are the many many different scales and universes of action figures...

This could be very a very interesting journey, indeed!
