Prize Arrival from Brini!

Today, a mysterious box arrived from Brini's Doll Domain...
Andrea: "I bet there's doll stuff in here! Can I help open?"
It's my prize from Brini's Christmas Blog Giveaway! The box was much bigger than I expected. Curious! I agreed that Andrea could help me open the package, if she was careful.
Something purple...

 What could it be?
Andrea thought that the packing material was fun!
I helped her pull the purple package out, and there was another package underneath! But wait...
"There's a note here, underneath the package!"
She wanted to read the note, even though it was too big for dolls.
The note was so sweet, and it had a gift card enclosed! "Shopping spree!" Andrea was excited. I think she was envisioning me finally buying her some filmmaking equipment!

I picked up the purple package to unwrap it.
"I'll get the ribbon off."
"Okay, now I need to get the ribbon off me!"
I had to help her! Together, we freed the occupant of the first package. To both our surprise, it was a talented new friend, a bakery owner Barbie!

"She makes cakes!"
I've actually been considering getting this doll for a while now, but I always passed her up because she was too expensive for my doll budget. I'm so thrilled to have her! I think Andrea is, too!
"Yum!"
There were still two more packages in the box. This one didn't feel as solid.
"I wonder if it's clothes. It would be a lot of clothes!"
We gently opened it and found...two more talented friends! One was a nurse doll, complete with very cute modern scrubs! I spend a lot of time in hospitals and doctor's offices, and lately, nurses have been wearing stretchy and bright colored tops that are more form-fitting (and actually look very comfy!). It's fun to see that the trend has reached the doll world!
"This one looks like trouble"
"You mean, she looks like Melody."
"That's what I said."
The other was a Pet Vet! I remember when I was a child, I had a Pet Vet Barbie. I begged and begged for that doll until I got her for my birthday when I was 9.Sadly, she and all of her vet equipment have been lost to time. This brings back some good memories!
After we freed the new dolls from the wrapping paper, we turned to the last package. It was smaller than the other two, but roughly the right size to be a doll package.
"We better hurry, if it is a doll, she will be very anxious to get out of that paper!" Andrea exclaimed.
The last package!
Who could it be?
I let her unwrap this one, and she tore into it. It was, indeed, another doll! A super cute cupcake chef in a pink outfit!
"Yay, more pastries!"
Andrea is thrilled to have these two new chefs to indulge her sweet tooth, though hopefully the new nurse won't be kept too busy with stomachaches from dolls overeating sugar!

I love all of the new ladies! The doll town is growing so fast, many thanks to the amazing and generous Brini! I really cannot express enough how wonderful this prize is.

New friends!

    1. She is very excited! They are fitting in so well here, though I have staggered the unboxing a bit so that I don't use up all the fun all at once. I think the bakery is going to be quite popular! Thank you again!
